Conductive Black Compound
Conductive Black Compound
This is a very innovative PE based direct use compound for blown film applications developed with superior dispersing & good conductive carbon black grades . Consistent conductivity delivered through this compounds are suitable for all packaging applications where the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD) is to be eliminated. The film produced with this compound gives a smooth surface finish with very good gloss and mechanical properties.
The formulation works similarly to a conductive masterbatch, but in compound form, saving the processor additional blending steps. It’s especially beneficial in situations where static charge buildup must be prevented without compromising film clarity or strength.
In comparison to a standard plastic black masterbatch, this compound focuses not just on pigmentation but also on conductivity performance. For film producers requiring ready-to-run solutions with reliable anti-static behavior, this conductive masterbatch compound fits well into automated lines without adjustment in processing parameters.

FAQs
1. How is conductive masterbatch different from regular black masterbatch?
Conductive masterbatch contains carbon black grades selected for their electrical conductivity, unlike regular black masterbatch which is primarily for colour and UV protection.
2. Where is conductive masterbatch typically used?
It’s mainly used in packaging for electronic components, cleanroom applications, and anywhere electrostatic discharge needs to be controlled.
