The two most important members of this family are TECHNOTUFF & TECHBLOW.
This modifier was developed when increased addition of fillers to Raffia resulted into drop in elongation and powder generation which directly reduced output and increased wastage.
There are a range of TECHNOTUFF grades developed for Raffia applications. The selection of these are based on cost and property requirements like improved elongation, increased strength or some extra addition of fillers. The same compound can be used for lamination and blown film applications enhancing filler addition maintaining elongation levels.
