VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) Masterbatches are specially designed additive concentrates used in plastic packaging materials, films, and moulded products to protect metal components from rust and corrosion during storage and transportation.
VCI molecules released from the packaging form a thin, invisible protective layer on the surface of metal parts. This layer prevents contact with moisture, oxygen, salt and other corrosive element ensuring long-lasting protection without the need for oils, greases or additional rust preventatives.
