The Antimicrobial Masterbatches from AddKan
There are three significant grades of Antimicrobial Masterbatches available from AddKan, depending on the applications, those are:
• ADV/01/00154 ANTIMICROBIAL PE02 & ADV/01/00157 ANTIMICROBIAL PE 03 designed for PE applications
• ADV/02/00039 ANTIMICROBIAL targeted for PP applications
• ADV/07/00083 PET ANTIBACTERIA for applications in PET
These Masterbatches are based on silver ion antimicrobial additive.
The Antimicrobial Masterbatches comprise around 5% of the active antimicrobial additive content. It will interfere with the cell metabolism of the microbe and will prevent it from reproducing. So, the products, which came from the AddKan houses, will remain free from germs, hygienic, and also fresh. This kind of item is perfect for food-grade applications too. In sectors like food packaging and medical disposables, the use of antimicrobial solutions along with antistatic masterbatch can enhance overall product safety and performance during handling and storage.
